Swamp Rabbits Stop Icemen

ECHL action returned to the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena Friday Night as the Greenville Swamp Rabbits came to town to take on the red-hot Jacksonville Icemen but Former Icemen forward Eberle scored the eventual deciding goal at 17:55 of the second period for the South Division-leading Swamp Rabbits. Icemen goaltender Joe Murdaca recorded 34 saves, while Greenville's Bednard tallied 38. Iacopelli scored his second hat trick of the month after previously netting three times on March 3 against the Orlando Solar Bears.

Both teams go at it again Saturday with the Puck dropping at 7pm.
