How Star Wars Reworked Cancelled TV Show Rangers of the New Republic

Star Wars‘ long-since canceled TV show Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic hasn’t been completely scrapped; although the show has been shut down, upcoming Star Wars TV shows including The Mandalorian are incorporating many of its concepts. Rangers of the New Republic was going to be concurrent with The Mandalorian

timeline during the New Republic era and feature Mandalorian character Cara Dune. Cara, an Alderaanian fighter and former member of the Rebel Alliance, was introduced in The Mandalorian season 1. Over time, she became close to Din Djarin, shoring up her place as a fairly important character in the show.
