American Idol season 22 winner Abi Carter reveals that the most “jaw-dropping” moment of the season for her was her hometown visit. Abi, a 21-year-old musician from Indio, California, wowed the judges–Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan–with her phenomenal rendition of “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish. The spectacular performance earned her one of the three platinum tickets of the season, and a video message from Billie herself during the finale. Abi won American Idol
season 22 after besting runner-up Will Moseley and third place finisher Jack Blocker during the season finale.
