After applying a lot of pressure throughout the first half, Miami broke through behind Miguel González in minute 31, Dario Suárez used a step over to create space in the Central Florida area before delivering a ball that was tapped in by González. Minutes later Miami FC doubled the lead with González returning the favor as he provided Suárez a point-blank opportunity that was finished clinically. Before halftime Miami FC had two excellent opportunities to add a third but were unable to convert.

In the second half, Miami FC Captain Dylan Mares, who was a second half substitute, scored twice in quick succession. On the first goal, Lloyd Sam, another second half substitute, played Mares in on goal and on the second goal, the Orange and Blue captain cleaned up an opportunity after a scoffed clearance.

In minute 80 González added a second to his tally once again being provided by Suárez who played a piercing through ball. Miami FC recorded a sixth goal thanks to a sublime finish from second half sub Shawn Chin in minute 88.

With another win in the bag, the Miami FC took another step closer to regaining the top spot in the Sunshine Conference and continued to expand the ever important goal differential.
