Tuesday Night Rock Orlando Style With Slash
The Hard Rock Live Orlando was at capacity Tuesday night as Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators roared into town in support of their “Living The Dream” tour. Chris Pamatian was in Orlando, Florida with My4oh7 keeping our music fans #Lockedin.
The opening act, Royal Tusk, is a four man Canadian band that describes themselves as “steadfast champions of the majesty of kickass riffs, meaty hooks, a thick bottom end, and loud guitars”. Their six song set confirmed that description to a “T”. Lead singer Daniel Carriere led the charge while supported by guitarist Quinn Cyrankiewicz , bassist Sandy Mackinnon and Calen Stuckel on drums. These four guys from the Great White North rocked hard and had the crowd pumped and primed for the main event.
The sold out crowd came ready to rock and the band made sure that they weren’t disappointed. Slash, formerly of Guns N’ Roses, was clad in his trademark top hat and had fans on their feet while delivering his world renowned guitar riffs. Alter Bridge front man, Myles Kennedy, had his powerful, melodic vocals on full display throughout the night as the band performed more than twenty songs for the appreciative crowd. The set list was comprised largely of the band’s original songs along with several of Slash’s hits. The lone Guns N’ Roses song, Nightrain, was served up with the pure adrenaline that the fans have come to expect. This was the band’s final stop on their 2019 “Living The Dream” tour.
