SeaWolves Sign Two More as Next Tryout Looms

SeaWolves Season Starting Soon

The Orlando SeaWolves, the area’s new professional arena soccer team, announced the signing of two players procured from open tryouts as the team is preparing to host its third tryout on July 21-22.

The SeaWolves signed Drou Goff and Kevin Naranjo, who were both discovered at the team’s West Palm Beach tryouts last month. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreements will not be disclosed. The team previously selected Rodolfo Lopes, Julian Pavloski, and Kevin Rockwell from their first open tryout.

Goff has played for multiple PDL teams and has also played overseas. The 28-year old has appeared in one MASL game, seeing action with the Detroit Waza Flo in 2013-14. Naranjo, a native of Colombia, just turned 25 and his futsal experience will help him transition into the MASL.

Registration is now open  for the third SeaWolves tryout, July 21-22 at XL Soccer World in Orlando. On hand to assist the evaluation will be the Head Coach of the US National Futsal Team, Keith Tozer, who is the winningest coach in arena soccer history, and legendary former goalkeeper Otto Orf, who won 246 games in his 19-year career.

Orlando will host the Brazilian National Minifootball Team on November 10 at Silver Spurs Arena. As a special bonus the team announced that the exhibition game will be added to season ticket plans at no additional charge if purchased by September 30. Fans who have already purchased season tickets will also get tickets to the November 10 game at no additional charge.

Orlando will play 12 home games and 12 road games in the league’s regular season. The MASL represents the highest level of professional arena soccer in the world.

Season tickets are on sale now starting as low as $10 per game. Go to http://www.orlandoseawolves.com/tickets to reserve yours today.
