Sarah Brightman and Swarovski crystal have collaborated to create a signature line of merchandise for fans to purchase during her 2019 HYMN World Tour or online at Sarahbrightman.com. A long-time admirer of Swarovski crystals, Sarah wanted to create a bespoke collection that her fans would feel a natural connection to. To achieve that authenticity, Swarovski invited Sarah Brightman to their headquarters in Wattens, Austria where she was able to draw inspiration from the brand’s rich 123-year history and its corporate archives.
The collection includes a line of jewelry pieces including stackable bracelets, a floral brooch and a dragonfly pendant, (both of Ms. Brightman’s personal favorites) a sparkling paperweight, key fobs, pens, all bearing Brightman’s signature and dazzling crystals from Swarovski. Many of the signature pieces Brightman will be wearing herself, as they have been incorporated into her HYMN tour costumes.
Other facets of the Swarovski partnership include:
· The creation of a custom tiara for Sarah to wear during her performances, which she co-designed with the Swarovski team.
· The application of over 600,000 brilliant Swarovski crystals to adorn the costumes Sarah will wear on stage during her tour.
· Creation of special Swarovski VIP ticket packages including the opportunity to meet Sarah backstage at HYMN tour concert dates
· A tour limited edition version of the HYMN album, featuring an exclusive new cover and bonus content.
“I want my fans always to be transported, and what is so beautiful about Swarovski crystals is that they add an extra dimension, so you are transported just by looking at the crystals and the light bouncing off them. I also wanted to create something people would feel a natural connection to, as well as capture the essence of the show. This way, fans can take away something that reminds them of their experience during the tour,” said Ms. Brightman.
