Sunday Morning QB With All The Scores and Thoughts
Waking Up on Sunday Morning is always interesting! First thoughts are normally, was Saturday night REAL. And you have to check your facebook Time Line to make sure you remember what you did. Some Good some bad. But that is the Sporting Life. This weekend’s Arena Football games were either really good. Or Really really Bad. No middle ground this week.
Quickly, the ROUGHRIDERS proved again, that the Defenders are not ready for the American Arena League. When you- lose 74-0 , you would Guess that the bus ride home is REALLY REALLY QUIET. The GEORGIA DOOM took down the CAPE FEAR HEROES 49-44 in what was the best game in the AAL this weekend. The NEW JERSEY FLIGHT beat the NEW ENGLAND BOBCATS 42-32.
Over in the National Arena League, a day after picking up their Championship Rings, the Carolina Cobras Won the Battle of Undeated’s taking down the NY Streets 48-33. The Jacksonville Sharks continued their winning ways taking care of business up in Massachusetts beating the Massachusetts Pirates 55-36. And what is going on in Orlando? The ORLANDO
PREDATORS traveled up to Columbus Georgia on Saturday to take on the COLUMBUS LIONS, and it really looked like the team stayed on the bus. The Lions devoured the Predators 63-22.
Over in the Arena Football League, Friday Night the Baltimore Brigade hosted the Philadelphia Soul, and despite a slow start Dan Raudabaugh stepped up in the second half to lead the Soul to victory 36-27. Congratulations to the A.C. Blackjacks who picked up their first VICTORY taking down Columbus Destroyers 42-35. And boy do the Jacksonville Sharks miss Tommy Grady! Boy that Man can throw! Grady lead the Albany Empire to their 3st straight WIN in 2019 beating Arvell Nelson and the Washington Valor. Nelson has 4 rushes in the game for a total of 7 yards. But fantasy players were excited as he scored 3 touchdowns. HINT.. GREAT FOR FANTASY PLAYERS EVERYWHERE!
