LockedIN On Arena Football May 2, 2019

All The News, Facts, Rumors And Thoughts On Arena Football

You got to like Thursdays! Everyone is Hyped up cause the weekend is RIGHT around the corner. People are generally happier on Thursdays. It’s not like Sunday when your upset that your team lost, or the fish got away. Thursday were Made for FUN. And today, we get ready for a weekend of Arena Football, and this week has some Great match ups. First, lets look back at what you might have missed.

Let’s start out like we ended last time, sending our thoughts out to the ones not here. The football community lost some big people this week, and LockedIN Magazine has them all in our thoughts.

Last weeks brought some changes to the power rankings in the American Arena League. Only goes to show you that ANY team can beat ANY Team on any given day. The Heroes proved that taking the game down to the final seconds, before sending the Havoc to the Loss Department.

One of the other powerhouses in the AAL, had almost as much as they can handle as the Ironmen took the game down to seconds left. CLOSER game in person, then in the stat page, but the Roughriders showed that they are in the game to the very very end. We all know the Roughriders are a good, well taught team, but where did these High Point players come from?

Shoutout to the video people of the Havoc. Did we see the stats correct? 900 people online watching the game? Now we need to get those people out to the game.

Now onto the new week, First the National Arena League:

The Jacksonville Sharks (1-1) travel to Worcester, MA this Saturday to take on the Massachusetts Pirates (1-2). The Sharks return to the turf after defeating the Columbus Lions (0-2) 48-24 in week 2 and enjoyed a week 3 bye. Both the Sharks and Pirates find themselves in an early season need for wins; with the Sharks looking to add to their 1 game win-streak. The Sharks have a record of 2-1 against the Pirates. The last time these two met was in 2018 at The Shark Tank when the Pirates were the #1 ranked NAL team.. The Sharks wrecked the Pirates ship and took down the league leaders 45-36 to move into first place. However, that’s in the past as both teams look to the present which has the Sharks ranked #3 in the NAL, while the Pirates stand at #4.

The Orlando Predators travel to Columbus Ga to take on the Columbus Lions on Saturday and the question on our mind is WHAT Orlando team will show up. The Fighters we saw in Orlando in week 1 or the dazed and battled players that we saw last week. After a hard week of practice, the players are arriving in GA and LockedIN Magazine will be there on Saturday for the game.

Who will stand out this week. What player will make that play that sends their team to the Winners Column?  Lets Find Out!
