The Latest News, Breaking Ideas and the Kick Off Of The AAL
Good Saturday Morning from The Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Florida! It’s 60 degrees this morning as LockedIN Magazine chats with Tiger Woods and the PGA Tour Players and TPC Sawgrass is Packed! Tons going on and let’s set the stage in Arena Football.
The Arena Football League is gearing up for what should be an interesting year, the American Arena League kicked off Action last night, and what is going on in the National Arena League. What an interesting week. Let’s kick it off with that insane action last night in Florence, South Carolina.
If you were of the few in attendance, or part of the live video chat last night, this was a game to remember. From the beginning you would have thought that this was going to be a runaway game for the Carolina Havoc, the 2018 American Arena League Champions. The undersized Cape Fear Heroes looked like no match up but came out strong in the 1st quarter. A strong Havoc team took us to the half with Carolina up 26-20. A pretty even 3rd quarter lead to one of the best finishes in an Arena Football game in YEARS as the Carolina Havoc come back with 7 seconds left on the clock to win 60-59.
A great game to watch and from our prospective it would have been a better game had their been people at the game! Marketing the American Arena League needs to be a priority of the league, as well as getting the team information out to the fans. If you go to the American Arena League website, you first will see NOTHING about last nights game, but also VERY Little on the website other then SPONSORS! Guys… you can’t get sponsors will you have a FOLLOWING!
You wake up the morning after the game, you to your teams website and there is NOTHING about the game? No Roster of your players? No information to help you? Getting your FAN BASE up to date is PRIORITY ONE!.
So enough said about the AAL, Great game last night.. lets build on that.
Now what is happening in the National Arena League?
Since the beginning of LockedIN Magazine, the one thing you always had in the Jacksonville Area was the Bouchy principal. Sometimes not the most loved, but Jeffrey Bouchy gave 100% to the Sharks and its fans. Earlier this week Bouchy announced on his facebook page that he is stepping away from the Sharks and the National Arena League.
With the NAL kicking off April 13, all eyes are on the rest of the ownership group to see what happens next. The Sharks are holding their last tryout Saturday at 10am, so that should be going on as your reading this.
