Jacksonville Remains Undefeated with Win Over Greenville

Hunt Claims ECHL Record in Icemen Win

The Icemen extended their win streak to four games after a 4-2 win over Greenville, remaining the only undefeated team in the ECHL. Garet Hunt claimed the all-time ECHL PIM record in win. Jacksonville heads to Greenville on Sunday for it’s first road game of the season.

The Jacksonville Icemen also announced that forward Cam Maclise has been assigned from Manitoba to Jacksonville, while Winnipeg reassigns Mikhail Berdin to Manitoba.

Maclise, 26, started off the year in Manitoba playing three games for the Moose. The 6-foot-3, 201-pound forward spent the 2017-2018 season with the Moose notching 13 points (7G, 6A) in 67 games. Following a collegiate career at Mount Royal University, the Camrose, Alberta native won a Kelly Cup with the Colorado Eagles in his professional debut.

Berdin, 20, has helped the Icemen to a perfect start for the 2018-2019 season. His .934 save percentage is 5th in the league, while his three wins have him in 1st in that category.
