Florida State Summer Games: All Are Welcomed

Please join us as we gather to share in the transformative power of sports and the spirit of Special Olympics

State Summer Games are our largest event with over 2,000 athletes and Unified partners competing in track & field, bocce, cheerleading, cycling, soccer and volleyball.  An Olympic-style opening ceremony will feature music, guest speakers, fireworks, and the final leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run® which is a spectacular moment you will not want to miss!

Sports Enthusiast positions will be available for Friday and Saturday for Athletics (track & field), Bocce, Cheerleading, Cycling, Soccer, Volleyball, Meals, Opening/Closing Ceremony, and Healthy Athletes.  There are a finite number of volunteer positions and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Anyone who is not pre-registered and arrives during the Summer Games will be turned away.  Having more volunteers than what is required is not beneficial to Special Olympics Florida or the volunteer’s experience.
