Does The College Football Rankings System Need To Be Changed

Undefeated UCF ranked No. 9, ahead of Ohio State in latest CFP rankings

The last weekend of the 2018 regular season for College teams is here, and with the new Rankings that came out tonight, Finally looks like some people were thinking all along.  The system is Broken and like all things needs revamping. But tonight, someone thought about the UCF Knights.

The undefeated Knights jumped one spot ahead of No. 10 Ohio State in the latest rankings released Tuesday night. It is the highest spot by a Group of 5 member in the history of the CFP. UCF and LSU are No. 8 in this week’s AP poll.

The Knights, No. 11 last week, crushed previously ranked Cincinnati 38-13 on Saturday, while the Buckeyes needed overtime to dispose of Maryland.

Now its a short drive down the I-4 for the Knights as the face the University of South Florida at Raymond James Stadium on Friday night.

No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 4 Michigan all maintained their spots in the rankings.

As with last week, No. 5 Georgia and No. 6 Oklahoma sit patiently, awaiting their chance to pounce into the semifinals. No. 7 LSU and No. 8 Washington State also stand firm.
