Former Mayor Alvin Brown opened up the camp with a message of UNITY in the community as asking coaches to take a Bigger part of the Youth’s lives. “You Have To Have A Plan”, Brown told the kids, “One day your home boy is going to ask you to do something wrong”. “You need to plan for that!”
The Camp designed by Travis McCall and The Football Factory was aimed at giving the kids something better to do then hang on the street corner.
The movement caught fire about a week ago, and according to reports, this will not end HERE.
