Clearwater Jazz Holiday lineup Is Loaded: Doobie Brothers, George Thorogood, Sheila E. and more

Get ready to break out your finest purple during this year’s Clearwater Jazz Holiday

A night celebrating Prince, led by proteges Sheila E. and Morris Day and the Time, will be among the highlights of this year’s 39th annual Jazz Holiday, Oct. 18-21 in Coachman Park.

Other headliners on the lineup: The Doobie Brothers, George Thorogood and the Destroyers and JJ Grey and Mofro. They’ll be joined by Mindi Abair and the Boneshakers, the Devil Makes Three, the Lao Tizer Band and more.

Tickets to the 2018 Clearwater Jazz Holiday start at $20 in advance and go on sale at noon today. Kids under 12 get in free.

Thursday, Oct. 18: George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Mindi Abair and the Boneshakers, two more acts TBA

Friday, Oct. 19: Morris Day and the Time, Sheila E., Danny Kusz, Betty Fox Brass Band

Saturday, Oct. 20: The Doobie Brothers; the Lao Tizer band featuring Chieli Minucci, Karen Briggs and Nelson Rangel; more TBA

Sunday, Oct. 21: JJ Grey and Mofro, the Devil Makes Three, Ruth Eckerd Hall/Clearwater Jazz Holiday Youth Jazz Band, more TBA
