97X NEXT BIG THING- TAMPA BAY’S LARGEST TWO-DAY ALTETNATIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE MIDFLORIDA AMP!

PANIC! AT THE DISCO HEADLINES TAMPA BAY’S LARGEST TWO-DAY ALTERNATIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL

WSUN/97X (97.1) proudly presents the 97X Next Big Thing, Saturday, December 1st and Sunday, December 2nd  at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre  in  Tampa, Florida.  Panic! At The Disco and Bastille will headline the eighteenth year of the 2-day alternative music festival.

Saturday’s lineup includes Bastille, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Elle King, and Lany.

Sunday’s lineup includes Panic! At the Disco, Foster the People, Young the Giant, AJR, Chvrches, Alice Merton, Grandson, The Knocks, Dreamers, Flora Cash and Max Frost.  One additional act for Sunday will be announced prior to the event.

“97X’s heritage has deep roots in breaking new bands into the alternative scene over the past 18 years. Next Big Thing has been the perfect opportunity to connect Tampa Bay with some of the best breakthrough acts in the world and we feel privileged to have the opportunity to make that impact,” says Jenna Kesneck, 97X Assistant Program Director.  “We cannot wait to introduce this market to LANY, Grandson and many others while also bringing back major headline talent like Bastille and Panic! At The Disco.”

Tickets to the event go on-sale Friday, August 31st at 8am EST via Ticketmaster with prices starting at $35 plus service charges, sales tax and facility fee. Two-Day tickets start at only $50 plus service charges, sales tax and facility fees.

The 97X Next Big Thing is an all-ages show that will take place on December 1st and 2nd at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.
